The Beast Crest
Class: Spiritual Tattoo Cost: 4.500 to 7.000 Credits

Advantages: Enhances Characteristic Zooanthropic Powers.

Description: Being a Zooanthrope means being something more than human and, although we remain human at heart, this is the Mark of the Beasts that shows our strength... and our burden of course... Once the Mark appears on the body of its bearer, it changes him deeply, even if on the surface nothing appears to be changed. However, as soon as the need arises, the Crest begins shining on the wearer, granting him its powers. The Powers bestowed are different from beast to beast, depending on which instinct the Crest calls and there are different levels of power that can be Marked on the Bearer. The Crest can bestow three different sets of powers:
1- Increase 2 (Two) Traits of the Crested One by 1 (One) Dot permanently. Which stats are increased depends upon the Spirit that the Zooanthrope owns. For Example, a Lion Crest would Bestow +1 Dot in Strength and +1 Dot in Charisma, whereas the Mark of the Tigers would bestow +1 Dot in Strength and +1 Dot in Gnosis (Or Dexterity? I'm still not Sure)
2- Increase a Set of 6 (Six) Abilities by 1 (One) Dot each permanently. Which Abilities are increased, usually depends on the Auspice under which the Marked is born: this means that an Ahroun's set is usually made up of the following: Alertness, Dodge, Brawl, Primal Urge, Martial Arts and Beast Drive. This Abilities can However vary by Auspice to Auspice and even among individuals, depending on the personal inclinations (a stealth assassin, while being an Ahroun, could see his abilities in very different way).
3- Bestow the Gifts: Chaos Mechanics (5th) (Which permits the use of Gnosis and Rage in the same turn), Ki Talons (1st Level Scarlet Cobras Special Gift), Energy Pulse (3rd Level Scarlet Cobras Special Gift) .
How many of this powers the Crest bestows, depends on the Level of Power which it has and such level depends on the worthiness demonstrated by the Marked (i.e.: the Credits spent). For 4.500 Credits, the Crest will show only One of its powers (chosen by its bearer), for 6.000 Credits, it will bestow 2 of the three powers (again, chosen by the bearer) and it will shine in its full Glory for those who spend 7.000 Credits. (The levels can be bought separately by spending only the difference in cost, so one can begin with a Level 1 Crest, then spend other 1.500 Credits to upgrade to level 2 and so on...)

Special Gifts

Ki Talons (1st Level Gift): With this gift, the Zooanthrope can call upon her inner energies to help her into the fray. when this gift is activated, Ki energy surrounds her hands, feet and every striking appendage shortly before she impacts on her opponent, strengthening her blows with her inner strength. Any Servant of Luna can teach this Gift as can any Dragon Spirit.

ystem: The player spends 1 Gnosis and rolls Strength + Primal Urge. For every success, She can manyfest her Ki Energy every time she strikes for 3 Turns. While striking with Ki Energy, all blows deal an additional Die of Damage and such damage is considered Lethal (unless it is already Aggravated, as in the case of a Crinos Fighter using her claws along with this gift, in which case the Damage is still Aggravated).

Energy Pulse (3rd Level Gift): This Gift allows the user to instinctively master her Energy Flow, where it would take decades of training to a human being to reach a much lesser level. Upon learning this Gift, the Fighter can concentrate her Ki just before striking her opponent and, while this effectively delays her blow, it ultimately strengthens the strike to incredible levels. Any Servant of Luna can teach this Gift as can any Dragon Spirit.

ystem: This Gift requires no expenditure, upon learning this gift, the Zooanthrope can will her Ki into her hands (or feet or whatever) to strengthen the blow. The Player rolls Strength + Beast Drive, she can then delay her attack by a numbers of Initiative Points (effectively slowing her down) up to the successes rolled with that pool; for every point of delay, she can add 1 Die of Damage to the delayed attack (and only to that single strike). While "Charging" the hit she can do nothing, not even defend herself, so be careful that the delay don't put you after any of your opponents....
